Solas - Languedoc
€9.90Price
A French wine with an Irish name. The Irish name was given to it by Neasa, wife of Laurent, and collaborator on this particular beauty. Solas means light in the Irish language. And that was the aim with this range. To create a wine that is completely distinct but still carried a lightness in every drop.
This one manages to be complex but simple, if that's even possible. You’ll find a lot going on but you’ll also find it easy to drink. Red fruits come through, as does a touch of spice. If someone brings it to dinner you'll probably invite them back.
Go to the butcher. Tell him you want his best cut. Then drink this with it. In fact pour a little bit over the best cut while you're cooking it.
