Lieu-Dit - La Croix

We take one grape, because this is a one grape Chardonnay, but that one grape can come from many different plots. These terroirs are elevated, not in height but in quality. They each have their own quality, some produce more concentrated and powerful grapes, some lighter and aromatic. We take only the best, the grapes that work well not just on their own, but together. So this wine is one thing, but it’s many things. There are layers to this Chardonnay, because there are layers to how we make it. Wonderfully complex, simply exceptional.

As you might imagine the best plots result is a cuvée like no other. At first it reveals white flowers and peaches. But you’ll also note a slight hint of nuts, that’s hazelnuts and almonds. It gives it a well-balanced crunchy finish and leaves you with something worth talking about.

Mature cheese, fresh fish, or mature cheese on fresh fish and of course a light salad. But to be honest you can have it with a steak if you like.
