Originating in the Rhone valley these varieties are enjoying increasing success internationally although Viognier still remains rather rare and, in many cases, expensive. By launching his signature range, Laurent achieves a unique focus from both a production and a commercial point of view. His aim is to become the Languedoc specialist for these two grape varieties.

Henri, his father, began focussing on the Syrah varietal over forty years ago and he has always supported the progression of the grape in the Saint Chinian appellation (to such an extent that local winegrowers have nicknamed him 'Monsieur Syrah'). His passion for these Rhone varietals has enabled him to accumulate a wealth of experience and knowledge about their successful growth and vinification. Both Henri and Laurent strongly believe that the mix of poor soils and climate in the Languedoc area coupled with Syrah and Viognier can create world-beating wines.

Through his range Laurent also hopes to introduce these grape varieties to a wider group of consumers. For example the range includes Chardonnay Viognier and Cabernet Syrah blends. By blending popular grape varieties with the lesser-known Viognier and Syrah, we hope that less adventurous consumers will be encouraged to experiment and discover these exciting wines.
