Syrah 92% Viognier 8%

Laurent produces his signature low yield Syrah Viognier from selected blocks of mature, naturally low yielding vines at his family estate. Vines are planted in the optimum North-South orientation meaning that the grapes are exposed the gentle warmth of the morning and evening rays but protected from the burning effects of the midday sun. We use natural cultivation methods whenever possible. This wine is a co-fermentation of Syrah and Viognier and is not aged in oak allowing full expression of the fruit.

Tasting notes:

Shows a lively purple/red colour when young. On the nose, aromas of  Cassis and raspberries with   inviting Violet notes and the characteristic notes of the garrigue (wild herbs and spices).  Red  fruit flavours dominate the palate which has a feminine floral character and silky well integrated tannins. An elegant, fresh red that can be drunk now or cellared for up to 7 years.
